The Role of the Church
The House of Solace prides itself on its skill at negotiation. Priests are commonly trained as diplomats, who are then summoned by rulers seeking to negotiate a peace or are sent out by the temple itself to make appeals to warring rulers or feuding Houses. Intinerate priests travel to spread the word of peace and to serve as an impromtu negotiator if needed. Other teachings of the temple include calming meditations they claim sooth the soul and simple techniques to resolve arguments peacefully.
